The biggest bicycle seller in Europe, sporting goods retailer Decathlon, which operates 405 stores in Europe is said to have sold 2.4 million bikes in 2007 in sales close to 4.5 billion euro. Bike Europe website reports that it is rumoured the company is further concentrating on bicycles and is said to have set a target for selling 3.5 million bikes in 2010.
